Why I am a Google Local Guide in Ontario - Canada!

My approach to being a Local Guide is to provide unbiased opinions regarding the things and places we go on a daily basis; I often give tips or insights beyond the basic star or “good” comment and I share what I genuinely experienced in that particular place

Based on feed-back people respond very well to this approach

I also love to post pictures that tend to show those places I visited in a different perspective, being very careful not including peoples faces or the like; most of them are wide angle pics… it must be working as one of them has 50k+ views

Hey @locholoco ,

I’m a local guide in Alberta, Canada! It’s great knowing you also take the time to protect the privacy of other people when taking photographs! I often blur out people’s faces in a photo, since I value their confidentiality more. Sometimes, including shots of crowds in photos can bring out the liveliness of that place, but their privacy can be compromised.
