Someone once asked me - Why do you keep sharing in Google maps. I said I like to share my knowledge.
What I said to him was true.
I like to share whatever I know. Mostly I like to share small places (be it anything from small shops to big marketplace or mall or movie hall etc) which is infamous and not well known to everyone. This actually helps people to know about something which they have never visited or could not visit but it exists.
I once heard that sharing knowledge makes you gain more knowledge. Google gives me the perfect platform to share whatever I know and specially whatever I see. If my visit to some place benefit others why shouldn’t I share it? I learned a lot from someone else, someone shall learn from me and this will continue. Google helps in sharing the knowledge. Therefore I am a local guide.
