My local guide badges are missing. Why did Google Maps do this to me? Why did they suspend me? How did I get my account back?

We cannot see what has been removed, but it seems that all your reviews are private? Why?

Copied? Duplicate? Offensive? Not related to the places? Written to change the rating of a place? You are the only one that can answer to this question.

This post can be a second good reason, because participating in the Local Guides program with more than one account is strictly forbidden by the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Contributions to Google Maps must originate from a single Google account to count towards benefits and cannot be transferred between owned accounts.”

As your account has been suspended, here below you will find a link to know how to contact the Local Guides Team for a verification of the account:

Please remember that, who is banned, through the account, is the person that is managing it, as the account is not acting independently of him.

Bookmark this link, and follow the instruction in there to know how to contact the Local Guides Team: Why was I removed from the Local Guides program?

"If you think you may have been wrongfully removed from the program and your account hasn’t been reinstated for more than 10 days, don’t create a new account to post on Connect. (That’s against our program rules, too.)

Instead, fill out the Appeal form, letting us know you’ve been removed. Be sure to provide us with your Google Maps profile URL so we can look into it. It can take up to three weeks to investigate banned accounts, so please be patient. Our team will reach out privately as soon as we have an update.

For your privacy, please edit your post, removing the contact information in there. The team will not use this post to contact you.

Suspended local guides can find help in my tutorial called How to Get In and Out of Trouble as a Local Guide.

Remember:

  1. It might not be possible to get unsuspended
  2. It can be a lot of work cleaning up whatever mistakes were made
  3. You may need to use an incognito window/tab to view the posts in my tutorial.

Having two accounts is a violation, as mentioned by @ErmesT .

Just for the record, @arash-tores

I have looked deep into probably 100+ suspended profiles and the majority were suspended for a good reason. And most profiles with good contributions got unsuspended after 3-4 weeks if they go through the process to remove all questionable contributions and use the appeals form.

So in my experience, there are more broken Local Guides.

Am I wrong if I say that, 8 days ago, you suggested to have a Police service against people who is uploading wrong information in Maps?

We do not allow ourselves to pass judgment on individual cases, but surely, as @MortenCopenhagen already said, most of the Local Guides removed from the program had violated the rules.

However, in our reply, we only wanted to clarify that also contributing with two accounts is a violation of the rules. Don’t you agree?

Just to make sure that you know the rules (I seriously doubt about that) I am tagging here my friend @Amiran , to see if he can check your profile and give you some tip

As I can see @amaldev808 based in India but @arash-tores is in Iran so these are two different persons. But I don’t know what is the suspended account of @amaldev808 to check.

But I should say to @arash-tores that he added hundreds of copy-pasted reviews from the web, and also lots of poor quality, similar angles and also many unrelated videos/photos to areas. These are clearly against the guidelines and should be removed. I’ll describe more in his own posts.
