I see many fellow Local Guides face the same problem the last few months: Reviews are not published for ridiculous reasons.
I post on Google Maps the last years mostly because I want to provide real time information and make people’s lives easier. I don’t know what automated practices they use to check our content, but I know they are defective. Please fix that as soon as possible, it gets irritating.
Can anyone explain to me what about my review is against the policy?
Different Countries have different laws/rules. It can get really, really absurd! Some include no people in the photo without their permission basically. Others anything that can be remotely considered copywritten (say a menu display on the wall) they don’t accept.
Who or which organisation is responsible for this issue ?
This is confusing.
Whomever sets the privacy laws in that area
and also the copyright laws
