Why Approved profile is not searchable, and even if the link to the missing profile is paste in search bar of Google map it is not found. Click the above link n check the confirmation notice that doesn’t match.

I understand this frustration. However, sometimes it could take a little over 24 hours for published places to be made public. Pl be patient.

The interests of a business owner and a local guide should not be mixed since there can be conflicts of interest. So please delete your account here on Connect should your primary interest be your business.

Pasting the link into the search bar in Google Maps is not what you should do. Try pasting it into the address bar in your browser. Then Google Maps will open on your mobile device.
The search bar in Maps is good for searching for names and categories.

Hi @MortenCopenhagen there thanks for your reply, its not my issue alone I just wanted to know what is happening with map across world, I had been experiencing a issue with my own profile on map
Anybody will know his own address door number and the area of city or state in which we live. For past 2 years our profile never got created but always got merged into another profile similar to ours. Then we investigated the reason, looking into other profiles existing in our own street, and it was there we found our own area is named with different different area names that are 1,2, 6kms away. If a profile gets updated on maps well nobody can delete it unless there is a specific request, i myself close 2 business yesterday that was replaced by a new business, but still permanently closed profile is still existing that takes approximately 90 days to vanish from map. In our case since we attempted many times Email id and telephone number itself was blacklisted and we found map profile too gets disappeared. Map profile take more than a month to go searchable directly with name of business itself. I know these issues should be posted on forum, but even the valid questions were made hidden not visible to anyone to answer. Have you seen a claimed, working profile gets suspended just for giving access to another partner’s mail id or telephone number.
If profile get updated on map against documents issued by government of that particular country then why these local guides are required?? If map profile were also disappearing if a my business profiles are suspended map would not be having 25% of locations on map, but in India it is like that.

I know this frustration and have experienced it first hand. My hotel was recently suspended and profile taken off the map completely. And I will need to provide regulatory registration documents to reinstate.
However, like @MortenCopenhagen mentioned. The connect platform doesn’t handle that. Please follow his advise on this, you will be able to get help on the gmb link he shared. Also If you mange businesses with your connect profile email, please discontinue as it will amount to conflict of interest
Hi @MortenCopenhagen as you suggested yesterday I would have deleted the local guide account but I wanted you to see thing in real.
As per google map team a profile is approved on maps and on gmb platform too. Now search a business directly by its name on your handset or computer and share the link to me, you will come to know the realities of map.
Search for business name Nathans press & rubber stamps vellore Tamilnadu india 632004.
Half of the details I provided to you and that profile is 72 hrs old after creating, details provided here is enough for you to search on map and with that much info it should be searchable.
Let me repeat again, visibility and searchable of businesses is not an issue pertaining to the Local Guides Program. You will need to seek help in the GBP program.
