Why doesn't this achievement work or update?

I wrote over 200 words in this review and it doesn’t update in the achievement and it’s stuck at 20 out of 50.

And this is not the first time this happpens.

How do I fix it???

And if you say it needs time to update well No!

Because the reach counter updates instantly!!!

Hi @the_gamer_m7

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 402 reviews and only 255 of them are public.

Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)

Read about typical review guideline violations here.

This I believe can explain why your review badge is not as you expected it to be.

Currently, your issue might not be your fault. Read: Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps. And, please make a reply there and request your account also be investigated.

Best of luck
Morten

How do i know which of them are not public?

Can I get a reason why at least these 2 reviews are not public!!!

How on earth did I violate the terms with these 2 reviews and I did not use any special characters or any harmful language

@the_gamer_m7 As @MortenCopenhagen gave an answer, I recommend you to AT LEAST read the link tag to the word “here”. It really helped me in my reviews.

If that’s not the case, (I’m not an expert but) a report against your review may occured & that caused to remove or hide your review?

EDIT:

I also noticed that you wrote IDENTICAL reviews on,

  • Giza necropolis
  • the pyramids of Giza
  • the pyramid of Menkaure
  • Pyramid of Khafre

I don’t think It’s okay to do the same (or copy-paste) on reviews for different locations.

in those 4 reviews were this

This could probably be an issue…

Hi @the_gamer_m7

Maybe you already found out that you need to compare your list of reviews while logged in to not being logged in (use incognito / private mode). It is easiest if you use two devices.

A review stating that a place is next to another place is not a review. Google Maps has the precise GPS coordinats so stating something about the position is not considered helpful. Instead tell us what your liked or disliked about the service you got there. If you were not a customer you should never make a review.

The other review states that it is in a mall. Again this is not helpful. There is a dedicated field to use to explain a place is inside another place. It is called Located in:

I just made it easier for you. Please see:

I think the reason those two reviews are not public is rather obvious @the_gamer_m7

“Next to Arby’s” is a location description, not a review of your personal experience and the quality of the food at the place. Have you ever actually been there? Bought a pizza? Perhaps you might like to write about that.

Same deal with the next one.

Remember user contributed content needs to be helpful and useful to other people and describe only your personal experience with the place, its services and goods.

Just to make sure the algorithm has gotten it right I’ve submitted your profile for a human review.
