Why doesnt my newly added place appear on Google Maps?!

Hello everyone!
I recently tried to add a new place (a small resort that is currently under construction) to Google Maps using the “Add a missing place” feature. I filled in the name, address, category (Resort), and opening hours, and even attached some photos of the construction progress.

However, after several days, the location is still not visible on the map, and I haven’t received any approval or rejection message.

:red_question_mark: My questions:
• Does Google Maps reject or delay new places that are still under construction?
• What additional info could help validate this new location?
• Is there a way to check the status of the place I submitted?

I’d appreciate any insight or advice from more experienced Local Guides.

Thanks in advance!

Something under construction can not be added to Google Maps by Local Guides

You can add it on the day it opens to the public if the business owner did not already do so. They can add new places up to two months prior to the opening date.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I am the owner of the place. It is currently under construction and I wanted to put it on the map before it is completed.

Hi @BellaGardenPhangan
I want to inform you that, as @MortenCopenhagen gave you the correct answer, I am flagging his reply as “the solution” for your questions.
As you are the owner of the business, you can claim it on https://business.google.com/
On the meantime I would like to remind you that, according to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions - Google Maps Help that you accepted when you registered as a Local Guide, “organizations, brands, and businesses aren’t eligible for the Program
