Why do I like being a Google Guide?

I am a university professor in Brazil and I love sharing experiences.

One of my hobbies is sharing stories from my travels. In January 2019, I was with a group of friends in Cusco, Peru. We were 9 days. We were walking from Cusco to Machu Picchu. We passed through snowy mountains, the mountain range and Inca ruins. They were days of overcoming our limits, resilience and learning. That’s why I love contributing with Google maps and I’m proud to be a Google Guides. I want other people to have valuable information and to make this google tool a powerful weapon to have good life experiences.

This video is from the time of the ascent to the mountain, towards Humantay Lake.

Here are some videos on this our track of overcoming:

This is the exact moment of arrival at Lake Humantay. At more than 4,700 meters below sea level. The whole effort was worth it. We celebrated a lot.

An indescribable feeling passes through our feelings. Worth it!

Going up the Huayna Picchu, is an award that closes with golden key this our journey.

After so much sacrifice and overcoming, the sensation is of wanting to return more often. A part of us stayed in Cusco and we carried another from Peru.

It is these feelings and moments that I pass in the Google Guide anda Google Maps. So this tools are useful.

To learn more about those labels I recommend you to take a look at the following article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
