“Take Only Memories, Leave Only Footprints”
I started adding to Google Maps a few years ago every now and then, now as i travel further and explore more, i find myself adding to it often. As i have spoken to people on my travels, i find that a lot of people don’t explore their own backyard. A holiday for me, is just everyday for them and i find that quite sad. This planet is full of incredible people, places, stories and cultures, both past and present and as a History graduate i want to use my passion for finding and learning about their backyards and share it with as many people as i can. In just the 22 years that I’ve been around, I’ve experienced so much, just last week i attended a traditional Berber tea ceremony in Morocco.
I feel that the world is moving so fast that we don’t get to enjoy the little things such as exploring our own backyards so i aim to travel as much as i can and learn as much as i can so i can share my knowledge and memories with everyone. I don’t just add to Google Maps, i add to my journey so that others can follow my footprints and see the world through my eyes. The beauty of their own backyard.
