Why do I appreciate to be a Local Guide?

Hi,

This Post is just to express my feelings about being a Google Local Guide.

I really like to be a Local Guide for many reasons but these are the mains ones:

  1. Help those who are visiting my town and country to have more accurate information on public services, transportations, things to do, avoid tourist traps;
  2. Help Local Businesses when they deserve, because I really believe in the power in word-of.mouth;
  3. When travelling abroad and as user it’s also a way to be advised and if there’s any situation that I can be useful to others, just why? Sometimes a little gesture can mean a great thing to others.

Sometimes, answering Local Guide questions, it’s for me just like a game and helps sometimes to just be entertained and at the same do something that has real impact in people’s choices.
