Why be a Pueblo, Colorado local guide?

I live in a small town so restaurants are limited. I love sharing local restaurants and business because there are always hidden gems in any community. I find it helpful when other local guides review their community businesses and recommend my support. More than anything, I like to review restaurants because I have a busy schedule and don’t have time to cook often. Being able to read others’ suggestions when looking for a restaurant (or business) reduces my stress and I like to help others in the same way. When traveling, I like to point out place along my route so as to help others that may take the same path. Knowing what is available and cheap when I’m on the road helps me plan better road trips. In the same way, when reviewing larger corporate business and restaurants, it’s good to let others know which stores are preferable when considering time and the customers intentions. I think what I like most is how contributing to Local Guides feels to me; I feel more involved, albeit remotely at times, with the community and feel that my voice is taken into account.
