Why be a local guide?

I remember my first trip to Europe still in 2009. I went there for work to do a training and because I had free days during the weekends, I used to travel and get to know the countries.

But it was only two days (Saturday and Sunday) and I wanted to see as many things as possible, get to know the cities, go through all the sights …

Well, that was my first big experience with Google Maps. I traced routes that took advantage of each displacement to guarantee the maximum of use of the ways that did. Rome airport to Hotel near Vatican? Yes, I will do the walking, folding in every corner and taking advantage to know the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon …

It was then that, in a snap, I thought I could show the world this way of traveling. And also contribute what I liked, which was to indicate cities to visit, museums, restaurants, what to do, what better time to go in each place.

That’s how I became a local guide.
