I was trying to make a post, using the translations from my video. It said I am limited to 20,000 characters. How come we can’t have unlimited characters? I have nothing that shows how many character I have written or how many I need to eliminate to get below the 20,000. I would prefer unlimited characters.
@TeJeWi in previous cases where I had to write a very long post over the limit, what I do is to split the post up to a few parts and post them in sequence as a reply to the first post, so they all appear in order. Each post is limited to 20,000 character. That’s one way to do it.
@StephenAbraham I am willing to do multiple postings! However wouldn’t it be a useful feature to have character counter so we know where we are with the amount of characters we have?
Where is the feedback towards moderators who have wrongfully removed posts? The community says local guides, yet they are wrongfully removing posts, that are related to local guides, based on their own narrow context?
@TeJeWi Do create a post in Idea Exchange about the need for a character count in post. It will be useful.
Regarding “removal of posts”, a lot of the flagging might have done automatically by the system rather than a moderator. Even after posts have comments, the system may still automatically flag a post and limit it’s access. Moderators are usually a lot more careful and accurate in this regard. Still, if you find one of your posts got wrongly flagged and cannot be access by others, write a post in “how-to” and tag one of the Google or Connect moderators to help you out.
