Why are some picturecounts are exploding?

I have pictures which have a huge amount of views. For my opinion really many.

What do you think is the reason for that?

@ReviewerCheffe may be there is reason for the photos get many view. It may contain the overview of that place widely. Thanks.

Hi @ReviewerCheffe - welcome to Local Guides Connect! There could be a number of factors, actually. When one contributes high quality content, such as photos, they are likely to be featured photos for certain POIs (which means it is usually the first or one of the first photos people see at a place), sometimes if the place is popular for a season (like a Christmas holiday store), more people will see it during that period. Another example is if you upload a photo of a food menu item, people looking specifically for that are going to be prone to looking at all the photos of the menu item before they go for it. The beauty is that there are different ways your contributions can make a difference in helping millions of others.

Hi SP31,

this may be a correct answer and I tought by myself to all this kind of circumstances you explained. Is there a chance that google allow to include a picture in one of a private website?

Hi @ReviewerCheffe ,

Being featured as @SP31 explained is certainly the most important route to many views. But sometimes it can also be because your photo is shown on the city or area where the place you posted your photo is located. Photos are reused this way. But usually only for a short time.
