Are you stressed and tired of the busy and fast life in Manila? You’re also tired of going back (and forth) to Tagaytay for a quick relaxation? I guess you may want to consider visiting Anilao, Batangas. It is just around 118 kilometers away from Manila (or Makati), and would take around 2 hours by car.
What to do there? Well, It is famous for seafood, beaches and diving.
Anilao is home of divers. Did you know that Anilao has 47 dive spots that are just near each other? It will definitely be worth your stay to maximize these sites in 2weeks! Ofcourse, if your agenda is really diving, it is recommended that you stay in a resort that is specialized for diving so that all the gear rentals and o2 tanks are already within your reach (or most of the time, free and included on your overnight stay).

Divers would do 2or 3 dives per day to maximize their trip (and even 4th dive at night!). Crazy! Ofcourse it is home of unique species that can only be found in Anilao.
Another reason is to visit their beaches and do island hopping to Sepoc Island, Maricaban island, bonito island, ligpo island, to name a few. Kayaking, snorkeling, swimming are ofcourse just some of the water sports that you can do when you do island hopping, just watch out for jelly fishes during the peak season because the water tends to be very clear, and these creatures are just silently sleeping somewhere.
My tip: Whether you choose island hopping or scuba diving, you will definitely travel from one island to another by boat. To save on the boat rental expenses, I highly suggest that you pack-up lunch or snacks to the boat, to avoid going back and forth to your hotel. Usually, the hotel staff would be nice enough to pack lunch for you, since it is (most often than not) included in your overnight package.
Goodluck and enjoy the relaxing life in Anilao!
