Why and what I love sharing most on Google Maps

Hey there,

one of the things I love so much about the google local guide community is the hive minded idea behind it.

We are all out and and about with different targets, priorities and point of views. And we are all right with the impressions and experiences we have. And the local guide community is the perfect way to share this stuff.

If a amusement park is boring a local guide should share.

If a amusement park gives you the blast of a time a local guide should share.

And if a amusement park is plainly OK, but has a one of a kind rollercoaster a local guide should definitely share.

With this information from all the people at hand everybody can benefit by getting a much better experience out of the outside with much less disappointing episodes.

If there are 123 of applauding posts, 8 about disappointment descriptions and 17 hints about this great one of a kind ghost train in the far right corner, I would know what to visit and I would be really looking forward to it

It is like we all have pebbles in our pockets and we live in a plane with many canyons.

If everytime everybody when being at a canyon would throw in just one of his pebbles, soon everybody could roam everywhere. Without anybody loosing anything.

And most of all nobody would fall down into a canyon anymore.

I have some many pebbles to get rid of.

OK, enough metaphor. I guess you all got the point.

Go now, fellow local guides and should we all make the world a better place to roam

Of course the stories, pictures and specialities all over the community are really great and I love to experience them, but I was asked to write what I myselfe appreciate the most.
