I just do this to make maps more accurate and eco-friendly. I am also kind of proud of the fact that being a Local Guide just gives me the platform for sharing good experiences with other people. Depending on my review somebody might decide to visit a place and have a good time. So in a way I could be the reason some one has that good time. I could be the reason some tiny food joint turns into a giant food chain. I could be the reason an un-hygenic restaurant shuts down. OK, I am not shutting down places with my world famous reviews here but you get the point. If enough people review a place as bad eventually its gonna go down or on the other hand some start up could just shoot up if enough people review it as good.
