Whom to tag?

Hello everyone, I am Anuj from India, I have a doubt-- To whom should I tag in my post?? Should I tag any or all moderators on Connect?? Please help.

Can you better explain what you mean? If you need help you can tag ONE Google Moderator (just one, it doesn’t matter who).

You should tag in your replies the person you are responding to, for sending a notification, but not other people if not necessary.

Thank you @ErmesT for your response, it cleared me some doubts. I just have one more doubt that while posting any post on “Photography” or “travel” or any other thing, who are the people should I tag? Is it a moderator or any more skilled local guide or anybody else?

This will help you to choose where to post your contents

Again, there is no need to tag anybody on a post, if you are not necessarily referring to someone on the contents of the post

Hello

In my opinion, the following would be a sound practice of tagging

  1. Tag only those persons in your reply to whom you wish to provide some answer or draw specific attention.

  2. However, it would be indecent to tag somebody just to draw attention in expectation of a comment or like.

  3. Beyond that, you shouldn’t tag anybody including moderators. The community is highly responsive and moderators do recognise difficulties even without tagging.
