Happy Nowruz.
I think a Local Guide, can play an effective role in correcting the cultural and historical misconceptions as well. For example, Kaveh Ahangar, a charecter of The Shahnameh (an epic composed by the Iranian poet Ferdowsi) is wrongly known as a legendary figure by many people.
During my trip to Chadegan I visited his tomb and through Local Guide could correct this false belief for many users.
