These photos are from 2015 when my wife and I took a trip to Whiteface Mountain. The mountain is located in Lake Placid, NY.Access to the summit is via the Veterans’ Memorial Highway. The mountain is also a ski resort during the winter months. This visit was a humbling experience. With so many people at the summit visiting and taking pictures, there was actually a silence. Thank you @MashaPS ! I have edited my post to state MY own words. It’s quite something to see that users cannot take basic information to add to their posts so others who have no clue where these locations are become informed. I like local guides connect, I do, but I think there would be a stronger user base if every single word and image was not scrutinized constantly. I understand the rules set in place and I am all for obeying them, but the constant pressure of watching every single detail you upload is most likely pushing many many people away from using this platform. I suggest Google to ease up on this. Again, I will continue to use this platform and comply to the best of my ability.
