White Gables Restaurant, Galway, Ireland

If you ever come to the West of Ireland there is one place you have to visit and it is the White Gables Restaurant situated just out of Galway city on the way to Clifden, on N59 route.

Embrace the traditional Irish cooking, almost feels like home made but so classy and well presented. The atmosphere is very elegant and cosy, romantic and stylish. You will be greeted by one of the owners at the door and her husband will be doing the cooking. Amazing place with fabulous traditional values.

Welcome to the White Gables

I second what @WenHuei said @Vratsagirl !

The photos of flowers, decor, and the reataresta itself lacked any food, and yet I still am dying to try this restaurant. Hence the power of photos! Keep up the good work!

Speaking of food…what is good to eat there?

Thanks @JordanSB I was planning to reveal the food in another post  but I will tell you…They are famous for their well prepared beef and fish, The Sunday Roast is one hell of a busy day from what I heard as well, they also have vegan and vegetarian options too…

Very beautiful photos @Vratsagirl . Have you used your phone to take them? I’ve never been to Ireland. Can I have a traditional dish there?

Also, I recommend you not to share external links as it might be considered as commercial advertising. When you want to share more information about a place, you can always use Google Maps links so other Local Guides can see more photos and read reviews.

I used my camera for those photos. And yes a lot of traditional Irish meals can be found here including fantastic roast beef lunches on Sunday,

many fish dishes and they have amazing roast and steamed vegetable selection for sides.

thanks for the tip about the links
