My name is Santiago and this is my first post in Local Guides Connect.
My favorite specialize are Restaurants. I always look for white blackbirds (a white blackbird in Spain is a term that we use to refer to something very strange, absolutelly unique). I’m passionate with this because I’m tired to go for restaurants that aren’t complete fantastic.
In Spain, there aren’t too much white blackbirds, but I can find them. My favorite restaurant is “La Cumbre” (like “the mountain” in english), in Pozuelo, Madrid (Spain).
You can order anything as simple as a starter like croquetas and it will be the best croquetas of the world. You can order a steak and it’s flavour takes you to a new dimension, and for last, the desserts… it’s not my speciality because I prefer savoury, but the ice creams are home made and has different typical flavours like vainilla or chocolate, but there are some new flavours like Nutella or Ferrero Rocher, it’s sublime.
They are so good that they decide to create a division of their restaurant with their own products, including a bar only for desserts (mainly ice creams) and another restaurant only with take away food.
