Hello everyone,
I am from India. I would like to know for my knowledge, that if I get selected for Connect Live 2020, then for which VISA should I apply for? I’m bit confused because there are different types of Non-immigrant VISA.
@AlexaAC
I will be thankful for your help.

@Rahul_Biswas Hi! Thanks for your posting here!
Every selected Local Guide will get some direction before facing the embassy and what he should have to do. As you are an Indian, Your country has not access for ESTA. You must apply for a Non-Immigrant visa and the category will be B1/B2. Read more- [ Business and Tourism B1/B2 – Please visit the Department of State website for information]

Hi @Rahul_Biswas , you should apply for B1/B2 visa, this is a non immigrant tourist/business visa. this allows you to visit U S as a tourist or for business purpose like attending conferences and consultation. i hope this information was helpful for you.

I wouldn’t focus on the visa you need at the moment and focus on your application. If you are selected, you will be put in touch with a travel company who will provide you with the necessary details and documents needed for the visa application.

Hi @Rahul_Biswas ,
Thanks for reaching out!
Connect Live 2020 attendees will be responsible for securing visas on their own, though if necessary, will be provided with an invitation letter to aid with their application.
Before you apply, you should research which documentation is required by your country. This varies country by country, so check your country’s U.S. Embassy website for further guidance.
