Which language should I utilize to write a post? Some fascinating observation.

Yesterday I discovered one more useful functionality on Connect.

Every so often I come across posts written in Hindi but using the Roman script.
I was anticipating there wouldn’t be any translation.
However, it was a pleasant surprise that the site could detect the language perfectly well & translate that in other tongues.

The same applies to English content communicated in the Devanagari script.
Factually, the site inherits that property from Google Translate.

But despite that, if somebody writes imperfectly, the translation would also be incorrect.

Like so, it’s better to stick to the native script.

@TusharSuradkar जी बिल्कुल हो सकता है

लेकिन बेहत्तर होगा कि आप देवनागरी लिपि का प्रयोग करें। गूगल कीबोर्ड या फिर गूगल indic कीबोर्ड की सहायता से आप देवनागरी लिपि का प्रयोग कर सकते हैं।

धन्यवाद

Thank you @AjjuR Ji

I am using a desktop computer.

I thought I could write Hindi words and sentences in English alphabets and it will turn into Devnagari as it happens on the mobile phone. It seems it doesn’t.

Do you know how we can use Google Indic Keyboard on a desktop computer?

Thank you :pray:
