Two years ago, we had a trip to Mongolia, on a vast meadow, without a specific road, people drove by experience and bravery. Road signs don’t tell you much, the roads change every year.
Gobi Desert

Thanks @SholaIB
Hai @Thai_Ngh .
You a trully adventurer.
Gobi Desert is very very large and with litle information, very tiny signange. I will be totally lost on that desert.
Two thumbs up for you.
Thank you
for your encouragement, it’s really good experience
Well done @Thai_Ngh
Thanks
, @MrFreez
Difference between road and desert not so clearly? Wow, amazing trip!
It’s a good reminder about how things used to be before the current technology @Thai_Ngh . You really notive how much we rely on our gadgets every day.
I hope I get to see the Gobi desert too some day. I would love to stay in a ger camp for a few days and cross that off my list.
Yes @Irfan_dPriyanto , the roads were changed every year after the winter. The drivers determined the roads follow theirs experience. Thanks for your reply!
Hi @MortenSI , you’re right that we used to live comfortably and stay some days in the ger is really unforgettable experience.
Thanks for your time.
Regards.
I’ve been thinking about doing the transmongolian railway from Moscow to Beijing through the Gobi desert @Thai_Ngh . That would be the perfect time to experience it.
@MortenSI It could be good idea. We traveled from China to near Gobi by train , then changed to car, because the famous places are not near railway stations. It could be very nice experience with Trans Siberian Railroad. I remembered that time in 1976, we traveled from Hanoi to Prague by train for 3 weeks and it was so fantastic.
I’ve read a lot about the trip by train @Thai_Ngh and I think it could be a very unique experience, although it isn’t a cheap one.
