Hi @Jayshack ,

Its a great choice, thanks for your post and Im sure @MortenSI can advise something cool.

Have you celebrated Christmas abroad before? I would love to have it in a warm place close to the beach.

Hello @Jayshack ,

Thanks for reaching out, and thank you for the tag @Petra_M !

It very much depends on what you are looking for. The fancy restaurants that practice the Nordic cuisine are often booked up months in advance.

I will definitely recommend you to go to the meat packing district also known as “Kødbyen”. This is an actual old meat packing district, where you will now find a lot of great, innovative restaurants with specialities from all around the world. Personally I like Paté Paté a lot.

Another personal favorite of mine is Tommi’s Burger Joint, which serves one of the best burgers I have ever had.

If you wish to try different types of street food, head over to Torvehallerne, where you will find all kinds of streetfood vendors packed in one place.

I hope this was helpful to you. If you need any other advice please feel free to tag me.

Hi @Petra_M !

Yes, we have celebrated Christmas in Cambodia and Argentina. Both were spectacular places to have a warmer celebration

My pleasure @Jayshack .

If food and restaurants are a big part of you overall experience, the area of Vesterbro is definitely the best place to be situated.

Have a great trip!

Hi @Petra_M ,

We want to tackle two more destinations, possibly Berlin being one of them! Any recos for awesome places to visit?

Hi @Jayshack ,

@PoliMC might have some suggestions about Berlin.

In my opinion Vienna is beautiful during Christmas time, it could be the second destination. The market around the Schönbrunn Palace is amazing.

Hi @Jayshack ,

As a little extra tip, since you’re visiting Copenhagen in the Christmas time, I would really recommend you to go to the Tivoli Gardens.

Tivoli serves as an amusement park all year around, but in the winter time, it transforms into a winter wonderland. Some of the attractions are still in use, but mostly the garden is rebuilt into a huge Christmas market.
