Where to dine with a view in Tokyo?

Hello dear Local Guides,

My favorite feature when I come to a new city is to find the places to dine with the beautiful view over the cityline, the harbor or any other panoramic view around.

I’ve been to Tokyo and visited several places like this in Odaiba island, and of course visited Tokyo Skytree restaurant, but it would be great to get to know other places in the city for the next trips and to create such list for Google users.

Thank you in advance and have a great continuation!

Best regards,

Valentine

Hi, @uavalentine

I don’t know it because I don’t live in Tokyo but my friends may know about it. I’ll share this on our community.

Cheers!

Hi @uavalentine,

I suggest Yokohama. Because It is port town, so you can see great view. Also taking 30 minute from Tokyo station is good point. My special is Yokohama Bay Quarter. I promise you awesome scenery.

FYI: I went Kinkawooka Grill & Oyster bar in Yokohama Bay Quarter. It was great!

@HiroyukiTakisawa, Thank you for letting me know ?

Hi @uavalentine

I went to this restaurant several times when I lived in Tokyo.

It is close to Shinjuku station and the night view is very beautiful.

But I don’t know if there is an English menu.

Hi @uavalentine

How about this restaurant?
It was very gorgeous and had a nice atmosphere.
Since it is a hotel, I think there is an English menu.

Really nice@uavalentine,

Thank you.

Best.

Yes, sure. I come through the post you mentioned regarding Tip: How to mark replies as solutions — “Accept as Solution” feature, and actually in some cases there are several solutions.

When I asked about dining with the view in Tokyo, I recieved several replies. All of them were solutions, cause they proposed only one place by post… But still, I can choose the best one from my point of view, right?

Thank you in advance!

Well, honestly no, because every point of view is valuable, and in fact you didn’t had any issue to solve @uavalentine , simply you received a set of interesting option, so choosing one of another is just a personal choice. I wouldn’t flag a “solution” for your post. In any case I am moving this conversation on your post, as it is not related to the subject of this thread

Hi @uavalentine ,

I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the solution from your topic as only posts that have absolute answers should have accepted solutions. You can learn more in here.
