Where Sky meets the Sea - A day out on Beach

Hello local guides :slightly_smiling_face:

February is the month of love, I want to share my love for this beautiful beach called Dana Pani Beach also known as Erangal Beach by locals

Which I missed to visit last year.

This beach is my magical escape when I feel stressed or I feel I need to take a break.

I personally love this place as it is not very crowded like all other beaches of Mumbai.

This place is located a bit inside so it is very clean, fresh and quite.

There are beautiful houses on once side and the beach on other side.

This time when I visited I noticed the beach was much clear and even the surrounding with better than before.

I started walking towards the waves and in between the rocks where there was water I saw many tiny fishes.

They were hiding in the rocks when I tried taking pictures

I walked a little towards the end and sat on a rock listening to the sound of waves, it was a sunny day but there was cool breeze.

It was indeed the best time to stay still and yet feel as rexaled as you feel after meditation.

I found a dog there, who sat beside accompanying, he was a bit hungry so I quickly bought some biscuits to feed him.

We played for a while and took a walk by the beach.

This place is also one of the popular spot for photoshoot and pre wedding shoots.

The sand area is great for kids to play you will also spot locals playing volleyball.

Early morning people come for cycling here.

This place is not fully accessible as it is uneven but one can park by the wall and enjoy the view.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

The photo of sunrays through the trees is excellent.

My favourite place to relax and refresh is all beaches in Konkan. I do visit Konkan couple of times each year. All time it gives refreshing feel.

@BijohnAdams @PritishB

thank you so much for appreciating,

Mumbai has many beaches and this is the one which is less crowded so I often visit here.

If you visit Mumbai I would surely Accompany you to show all the beautiful beaches around :slightly_smiling_face:

@LuigiZ thank you so much !

The climate was just perfect that day as we are in between summer and winter it’s usually not too hot during day time or else it’s difficult to stay at the beach cause the climate here is very humid.

I wish to visit some more places before the temperature rises this is the best time to explore beaches and parks :slightly_smiling_face:

@abhishekpatk Indeed Konkan is Heavenly place!

I have been to Ratnagiri and Ganpatipule I am so in love the beaches that are located in these regions I also loved the open museum prachin kokan and magic garden it is a fun place for family outing.

Konkan is a great holiday place there are wonderful locations around :slightly_smiling_face:

A wonderfully wirtten post @FalguniP these are rare to see on LG Connect lately.

I especially like the part where you fed the hungry dog, a practice that I too love to follow on tours.

@NareshDarji I am sure you will enjoy this place.

All other beaches are too crowded now, but this is still less crowded and great place to visit alone or with family.

Eagerly waiting for your Mumbai visit.

So we can explore more places :slightly_smiling_face:

@TravellerG thank you for your kind words.

Usually I visit this place in late afternoon this was the first time I visited early morning and I was amazed with the view.

These are the best things about nature they surprise us everyday with it’s beauty.

@TusharSuradkar Thank you for appreciating :slightly_smiling_face:

I love beaches and dogs

I have this habit of feed stray animals wherever I go.

Even in my building I have few cats whom I feed on daily basis. Local guides should also take care of these little beings.

I have also mentioned about feeding stray in my maps bio.

Secluded beach of Mudh…because I think most of the people visit Aksa beach and miss out this one. And also it’s very rocky around it seems. There are couple of small or rather tiny beaches around I think, don’t remember the names now. I had been here during my college days way back in 80s…very quiet area and cute bungalows around there. That’s very nostalgic for me @FalguniP !! Thanks for bringing those memories back! Missing Mumbai a big time!!!

Cheers!
