In the world, there are so many interesting and beautiful metro stations.
Today, I will be happy to present you one beautiful metro in the World, probably you have not been here yet.
It is located in the city of Almaty. In turn, it is the only metro in Kazakhstan and one of the two in Central Asia.
So let’s see its 5 fine stations and know their short history
1. Baikonur
In fact, Baikonur is the world’s first and largest operational space launch facility located in Kazakhstan.
And, the design of this station in high-tech style is associated with the Baikonur cosmodrome.
For wall decoration used cladding metal panels of blue and light grey. The floor is lined with grey granite.
2. Zhibek Zholy
This beautiful station was built in the Great Silk Road (Uly Zhibek Zholy) style which passed through South Kazakhstan.
The architectural and artistic solution of the interior is based on the traditional methods of decorative and applied art of the Kazakh nation.
The end wall shows the most famous symbols of the countries through which the Great Silk Road passed.
3. Almaly
Actually, the name of the city and the name of this station are associated as the homeland of an apple.
The design of this station consists of three parts: the right side is the flowering garden with the outlines of the ancient city of Almaly. The left part is the ripening of fruits with the silhouette of a caravan. The central part is an apple tree with fruits, as a symbol of fertility, the tree of life and prosperity.
4. Auezov Theater
The station received its name from the nearby Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh Drama Theater. M.Auezov is a great Kazakh writer, a social activist.
The station’s interior is made of decorated walls and columns with travertine tiles with inserted volumetric medallions
made of hyperplate and decorated with national ornaments and scenes from the life of nomads.
5. Moscow
In 2011, there was a mutual exchange of station names between the city of Almaty and Moscow.
The track walls are decorated in the form of a Kremlin wall with teeth in the shape of a dovetail.
At the second floor have a photo gallery with views of Moscow and its architectural masterpieces.
