Whatever happened to the incentives for Local Guides?
It seems like Google should be doing more to encourage all the free work they get from their contributors.
I remember getting a pair of socks – which was cool.
And some e-credit on Google (quite useful, and doesn’t really cost Google much, especially for renting videos, etc.)
What else has anyone received as a guide they thought was neat.
Back in the olden days - and this may have been before your time - I seem to recall that Google had a pretty neat incentive it provided for its Local Guide contributors. I believe it was called “accurate and regularly updated view counts”.
Gosh, I miss those days 
@MattGatlin Boy, I think you might be showing your age there.
I’m not sure I remember any time when I had that incentive. It seems like a dream.
Tell me more about the “good ol’ days”.
