I live in India. I work in a travel company and travel across the world. I am a passionate traveler and photographer as well. So, my story is merely a travelogue with some impressions. I found that my interest lies in tourism and travel. I used to travel within country before my first trip to abroad. It was “South Korea”. Memories are not clear because this was about 4 years ago.
This first solo trip to abroad was 3 months long and I opened up with a whole new world never imagined in my dreams. I was exposed to a very fast lifestyle way far than I had ever lived. I went there for my course in camera and photography. Two of the biggest problems for me were language and food so Google became my constant support.
Since, the place was totally unknown to me, Google map helped me find newer ways to survive. After I returned back to India, I started answering questions about the places I visited, adding missing places, Adding new photos and reviews about my personally experienced places. Adding these details helps the travellers and new visitors coming to a place get an Idea and plan accordingly.
My contributions are not limited to one particular place. I have visited many different countries and places like UK, Thailand, Malaysia, UAE, Sri Lanka and Turkey. I could only survive because of Google map. I never miss to capture a single moment. Photography with travelling has always been a deadly combination. Different countries their rich varied culture, lifestyle and food, I am all fond of them and I want them to make known by adding pictures and reviews. Whenever I Travel I get to capture earth’s most beautiful places. Some of the places you will see will blow your mind and humble you down to the earth. I have added some of my own beautiful shots. Google map has been such a great help. So, I on the other hand being a traveller who gets a chance to know about a place, I want to help Google by adding unknown neighborhood places like pharmacy, gas stations, metro exit gates parking lot, public toilets, banks, ATMs etc which are unrecognized
and need local exposure. Travel photography teaches flexibility and patience. To hold on to something you have wished for capturing with ease in the cameras for lifetime. As I am fantasized for travelling and photography, I find it very important to share about the places and answer various questions so that people of other nations come to know more about other places. Google connects the world and I want Google to be home to everyone.
