Being a Guide is of my own dream, interest & hobby. If you ask me, “What will you do after retirement or what would you choose other than your current profession?” , I would always choose profession of GUIDE.
Main intention is to help others which also acts as “Lesson’s Learnt” through your experience, may it be best or worst. In terms of BEST, others will get idea of what actually are places of interest, what needs to be taken care before visiting that place, when & what to visit. In terms of WORST, seeing reviews posted by local guide, same will not be faced or experienced by other person visiting similar place / premises or location or restaurant. I have personally seen many users searching for good reviews of restaurant & then deciding on whether to go for that restaurant or look for some other restaurant. It saves time of users as well as they get to experience good restaurants. Moreover it helps restaurant owner to improve its standards, quality which in-turn will help owner to get good business as well & make it more famous place to visit.
When I came across this local guide program, I started writing reviews, posted photos, answered questions & slowly my interest grew in this program as I was climbing up the ladder from various levels to current level. My target is to reach highest level of this program. Best thing is that , your reviews & posts are appreciated. Google sends out statistics of your photo views , reviews & not only this, local guide program also awards you with some perks which keeps motivation ongoing to share more post & reviews.
Local guide program helps many people across world,primarily one of question & answers which I come across to help users is “Is there wheel chair available?”. This is to take care of persons who are physically disabled.
I will be looking forward for Connect Live 2020 to meet person across world with diversity & interact with them to share my knowledge & gain others experience. Connect Live 2020 will also help every individual local guide to improve their areas & make local guide much better place to help many more users across globe.
All in all, I would really thank google for bringing such program to end users & giving opportunity to serve others. It has in its own way fulfilled my dream of being a GUIDE.
