Here’s the content of my review:
"Pretty terrible place. My boyfriend was given a room here paid for by the forest service (his employer). He came to santa fe originally to work with the forest service and help with the fire in Pecos which could have spread who knows where, but surely could’ve effected this chain’s income if one of their hotels burned down in the fire.
He leaves for half an hour, on his way out sees cleaning staff in the hallway outside his door, then when he gets back, his laptop and his FEDERAL laptop are stolen. Which is a HUGE deal, the federal government takes the loss/theft of those very seriously. People have gotten fired over them being stolen before.
They said they aren’t responsible for anything stolen out of rooms. Even though there’s no safe in the rooms or anything to help prevent this. So, he’s told his boss and cautioned them about sending anyone to this place (which is a big deal, because during the fire there were tons of forest service staying in hotels in santa fe, if they decide not to go with them anymore that’s a huge revenue loss).
It’s not safe for anyone to stay, like if someone can just break into your window at anytime and steal things, who is to say that someone can’t break in and harm you? Women especially stay away from this place, you’re not safe there from creeps who can come in through your window, and everyone in general DO NOT feel comfortable leaving your items there because they’ll be stolen and you’ll be left out to dry by this place.
I seriously hope those laptops are found and returned to him, he’s waiting out the rest of his stay and we’re reaching out to people that we think can help get the word out about what you can expect when you come to Santa Fe to work on fires and such and stay at “Quality” Inn."
I don’t know if it matters but I’m a level 7 guide, never had anything else removed to my knowledge, get emails all the time saying I have x amount of views on photos etc. so I think my account is in good standing… anyone have an idea of why this is happening?
I tried editing out the parts about fire and posting again because maybe it was flagging it as a threat but it still happened. Tried 5 stars, still happened. Not sure what’s happening but I really want to get the word out that people are stealing from that place, I don’t want anyone else going through that (or worse).
