There are beautiful places, and then there are places that stay with you long after you leave. Lake Saif-ul-Malook is that place for me. Surrounded by mountains and open skies, its clear water feels almost unreal—like a small piece of heaven hidden among the peaks.
I have memories connected to this lake that make it more than just a destination. Being there felt peaceful in a way that is difficult to explain, as if the mountains, the cold air, and the still water made everything else go quiet for a while.
Reviewing it on Google Maps felt special because I wanted to share not only a location, but a place that people should experience with their own eyes at least once. It is one of Pakistan’s most unforgettable treasures.
One of my favorite places we have visited is the Wat Mongkolratanaram Buddhist Temple. The temple is hidden away down a side street on the river. The temple has a market on Sunday filled with all sorts of things to look at and eat. The entire place is one of the most peaceful places you can visit.
