Have a try and maybe you’ll like it!

Hi everyone in the LGC community! I want to send a warm greeting to all of you.
I would like to express my gratitude to @SholaIB for the tremendous job of coordinating and creating this TRAC challenge. I joined in the early days and I wanted to share my motivation with all of you, hoping to soon see you in the amazing team of “road mappers.”
For a long time, I had a project in mind: to map the trails of the “National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena” I started engaging with the LGC community to figure out the best way to meet Google Maps’ requirements. Right from the start, I found sincere, warm, and passionate help from @ErmesT . The more I studied, the more inspiration I found.
And what can I say about @JanVanHaver , who infected me with his initiative “Let’s clean the Map” (from 0 to 3000 in two months) ?
Then @shola came along with the “TRAC” challenge. It has been a wonderful opportunity to become more and more active.
Now, in the specially created group, we exchange information, experiences, and support to become better and more efficient “road hunters.” in addition we are aware that what we do has a tremendous impact on the user experience of Google Maps worldwide. But the most important aspect is feeling like a part of the group and forming new friendships. What else can I add to what Shola said? I am also looking forward to meeting all of you in this group and I will be happy to assist you whenever needed.
And if by chance you happen to spend some vacation or work days in northern Sardinia, it would be wonderful to meet up. I’ll be happy to guide you through the park’s trails.
take care
Marco

Hello @PrasadVR
Yes we saw your form, did you fill the form 2 times? Anyway thank you for joining. We do not send any acknowledgement to anyone by emails really.
Nevertheless if you join the telegram group, there is an acknowledgement there. I always make sure I acknowledge all our members on telegram group. Thank you for joining Anyway. Yes you can check the list of your edits on the maps.
You get an email of acknowledgement when you add a road or any edit at all. You also get email of notification if you have any roads approved. It takes patience and time when it comes to road approval. If you keep on adding more It gets better but if you stop…! Ten is a good number but please continue adding more as you see roads that needs to be drawn on the maps.
Happy guiding

Hello sir,
Thanks for your prompt and detailed reply.
Best regards,
Hello everyone.
I like your initiative, but unfortunately in my country, Ukraine
, the road editing function is not available. In our country there are a lot of problems with roads, while Google does not open this opportunity for users to correct errors, but it itself is in no hurry to correct a large number of errors, of which there are a lot…
Thank you Tushar Suradkar for your kind words and invitation.
