I am an extrovert. For an extrovert, the profession of a guide allows you to constantly communicate with people, visit new places and help people in choosing places to visit, learn more about details of all places of planned trips, and study independent expert reviews that can be taken into account when choosing an upcoming route. My constant tracking of information allows people to be informed only of verified and reliable information. In the process of my activity, I began to take an active part in the program of guides - I added photos of visited places and cities, wrote comments, edited notes of other guides on places of visiting and places. My development is constantly happening - qualifications, education are increasing. I began to learn a foreign language. My recommendations impose obligations on me as the information provided. There is a need to search and study additional information regarding recommended places. Indeed, many people are interested in what happened and who visited here before them, what events preceded the appearance of this or that object.
With active participation in the service, I realized that through my actions I help the development of the service and all people in choosing places to visit, find out some details about the places of planned trips, study independent expert reviews that can be taken into account in choosing a route. I only provide reliable information verified by me to avoid the traditional tourist traps created by dishonest business owners to lure tourists.
What gives me participation in the Local Guides program is a constant competition in writing a more useful and high-quality review, getting to know other people, a sense of bestowal on my daily work to improve the lives of other people. Knowing about this service and constantly participating in it, I myself first study the travel routes or a foreign country where I am going to go. I learn a lot of interesting and unusual thanks to the information of local guides: the customs of the peoples, their cuisine, treats, the most interesting places to travel. Every guide has a lot to learn. All people are different and it’s good that there are more of us, local guides. This means more opportunities in obtaining objective information about all the places and processes taking place in our lives when planning and preparing for new knowledge, eliminating unpleasant and dangerous situations in the life of every traveler. I understand that I am doing all this for good reason and my information is interesting to other users. Let’s continue to develop together with you and thanks to the whole GUGL-card team for the opportunity to do this.
