Pulo geulis is a tiny island that break the Ciliwung river into two streams.
Lets the story begin.
In year of 1482 The Pajajaran Kingdum was built, and the King naed Mundinglaya.
One day He and his ship sail the Ciliwung river and found an exotic island, and named Pulo Geulis an Exotic Island.
The island became his palace for take a rest wrom his busy days.
In between 1579 to there is a long wars period and the kingdom is ruin and this Exotic Island became a wilderness island, nobody taking care of it.
1703 - 1704 An expedition lead by Abraham van Riebeeck claim that he is the founder of this island.
It became a disputable issue with the Local Authority.
This island is the home of 2500 Sundanese and Chinese people that living in harmony.
Foryears there so many false information come to Pulo Geulis, the exotic people but all the people who live in claim that yes we are came from different culture and tribe but we are in one unity.
Diversity is beautiful.
Diverent religion do not make us devided and hate each others.
There some external power want to change this harmony , existence, build something modern, but all people who live in Pulo Geulis walk and work hand in hand to stand the morale value. Yes, " We are unity in diversity".
We all remember what the first prasident of Indonesia said : Do not ever ever forgetting the history, where you came from".
