Whatever it takes I’ll snap it

I’m going to start this post by making a confession: I became a local guide by accident. As any traveler I love to know new places or rediscover the already known and take photos as a souvenir or inspiration to return and enjoy them.

On a trip to the Mayan Riviera I went to a well known adventure park and after using Google maps to know how to get there and enjoy my day at the park, Google Maps asked me: How did you like the park?

On the way back to my hotel I graded the place and shared the photos I had taken. A week later I received an email from Google maps telling me that one of my photos got 40000 views. I was surprised for the number of views of a photo taken on a life-saving tire in the middle of the park’s cove. And you would ask yourself: good, but what did you photograph?, the photograph is of a new attraction that was almost a month old having been opened, a lighthouse with 2 water slides around it, one faster than the other, and as security reasons could not take photos or videos inside the slide I agree to take a photo of the lighthouse from the cove.

Returning to the email, I realized that it was part of something called “local guides”, since I had uploaded other photos from other places.

Now I try a bit more taking pictures either climbing on a rock, on top of a building, getting into a river of ice water and everything to get to inspire other people through my pictures and make decisions about the places to visit them and be sincere, also by competition and level up, always sharing reviews and quality photos.

Currently my photo of the lighthouse has 76,341 views. Share with me if you already saw it and tell me from which part of the world you are watching. and if you have’t seen it, what are you waiting for?
