What I really like about Local Guide is that it gives people the opportunity to help others with just the capture of an image. Also an opinion or a rating can be useful when finding a place that one needs. In my personal case I have found that with 2 photos I have helped thousands of users to find places that are not visible. In this way many people have found benefits by being able to reach the place they were looking for, in this case it was a pharmacy. There have also been cases where I have taken pictures on a walk with my family and they have been very helpful for people who were looking for those places.
