The Local guide program makes me feel like a hero, many people think of guys in avengers as super heroes but to me the local guides are the real heroes.
Not too long ago I go stuck in a place because I couldn’t find the place I was looking for, you can imagine this happened in the city of Kampala where I grew up from. My phone battery had died so I took me up to 30 minutes to get my Phone charged. As soon as you got back online, I checked google maps and one hero had listed this place on the map, and immediately I followed the directions on the map and got to my desired location.
Whenever I add a location on the google maps I feel that I have put on my heroic suit and I am sure no one will ever get lost trying to locate that place. Isn’t that awesome?
Whenever I see my photos on google maps getting more reviews everyday, I get stirred up to keep doing adding more contributions to make the world on simple village to everyone, and we get no issues like I am in a strange land.
Therefore the Local guide program is a mega global link which has brought the world to oneness and I am glad to be part of this mega global link making sure that the gab is bridged.
My decision to become a local guide has also contributed to the community by increasing revenue for business owners of those places I have visited and included them on the google maps, because with such listing, many visitors from all over the world are able to located these places and bring income to these local businesses. You see how I have been able to build my country because of google local guide program? I know even the business people are thankful to the local guides though many times they don’t reach to us to show their appreciation, but that is our call that is what heroes do.
