I have always loved photography and traveling outside my home town, whether it be to downtown Chicago or to another state or to a Caribbean island. I was born and raised in Illinois and the best part about leaving the house or traveling to a new place is the food! I love food and I love sharing my opinions on new foods and desserts I try along the way. I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and explore a new city, try something spicy, and go on delectable quests.
Now with Google Local Guides, I can also see what other people’s opinions are especially when I needed to find a new dentist a few years ago and to see if other people trusted in this person/company. I went and got my wisdom teeth out and gave him a great 5-star review. Now my children have the pleasure of going to the same dentist who we now trust because we had the experience ourselves. Local Guides gives me a sense of community and a family that I can rely on and trust what others write about and they can trust what I write about as well.
