I love art contemporary museums. I like museums in general!
It used to be a museum of art in my city until last year, it closed due to some changes in the private company which runs it. And the council couldn’t manage to save it. I discovered it almost late, I went to the museum the last month before closing, even when it was open for 10 years in my city!
But it was not supported by the council so nobody knew their existence even when the entry was free and they had workshops and activities throughout all the year. I wish somebody would have helped to reach more audiences some way!
Now, thanks to the platform I’ve discovered another museum in the next city close to mine and I am looking forward to going and visiting it.
I also expect to take advantage of it when I visit this town and search in the local guide platform for some recommendations around there.
This platform means a change for me because thanks to all these contributions we can discover places worth to be shared and spread.
It helped me especially for my trips, as I was discovering Ireland or Austria while I had lived there.
These last months in my city I’ve been more active and helping to add some missing information (schedules, for instance, correcting names or locations) from places around the town and I am really glad I did, I was really surprised at all the views from my post and photos!! I didn’t think about all the people who use it daily. I find cool that people use the app and find useful photos from my experience.
I feel I am doing something useful and helpful for others and I feel great about it.
I am planning to start adding more videos, I have never tried that! I am also glad about all the people who spend time writing about a place and especially about their people! There are a lot of nice working persons and amazing workers everywhere who deserve to be discovered too and their work!
