Hello! My name is Wendy Máximo and I live in Mexico City. I am very proud to live in this country because it has a great variety of places to visit. I can say that from the North to the South you can be surprised of the incredible things that you can know.
When I met google maps I was surprised by the way I could search for places (restaurants, cinemas, theaters, bars, etc.) and above all I could be guided by the comments of other local guides, from that moment I fell in love with google maps.
So I decided to become a Local Guide, I consider that each photo and comment of the places I have visit are very important because people from my country or from other countries can consult on Google Maps and have a reference to the place.
I think that the most interesting thing I have done as a local guide is to share those places that I have visited, especially those places where you can dance to disco music and that people have references to where you can go to dance.
The Local Guides program has a lot of meaning for me because I like to share, my experiences, my likes and my photos and I like to know that I can help others.
I consider that Google Maps is a great help tool even if you are not a local guide, at some point you will have to do a search.
