Just the other day I went to a local cafe in a township called Rethabiseng, in Bronkhorstspruit. I ordered fries and while I was eating told the owner wanted to list his business Google maps, he was so shocked he thought wwas friends with people in high places… I laughed and told him that I was a Google local guide and I pride myself in businesses and customers with reviews, listings and by sharing my experiences publicly.
He was so happy he couldn’t stop thanking me.
To me the program means bringing hope to our local businesses especially the small startups.

It is always a good feeling to help others, that happened to me too, they even offer some money to me and because we do not sell our services I always tell them that my services are for free we do not cost anything we are volunteers.
