For the past four years I have taken pride in being a Local Guide Contributor. Why? It takes me further than I can ever imagine. It takes me out of my comfort zone. I go farther, travel longer, and push myself to do things that are out of my comfort zone. Google Maps is my crutch, without I would never have visited my favorite places or push my limits without. From climbing the tallest mountain, to trying food that is out of my comfort zone, to taking the scenic route. Being a Local Guide is being an advocate for you town, city, state, or region and without contributors some of the best places earth has to offer would be remissed.
