And I wondered If I took any pictures of Spring in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), then I realised Saigon has two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. Obviously, you can never experience the arrival of winter or spring physically here. Most people find the heatwaves in Saigon extremely uncomfortable. However, trust me, there are moments that you may forget you are in the warmest month of the dry season. I mean, on a typical sunny day, you will feel less heated if you notice there is a slight breeze ruffling the leaves of the trees. You will feel rather calm when you look at the crystal clear sky, and not to mention the spectacular masses of vivid flowers and evergreen vines along the roads, which may bring you the sensation of spring and keep you cool in hot weather.
I took several pictures of ‘Spring’ in Saigon I and I hope that the following bright pictures of flowers and skies will give you a source of aspirations and a tranquil soul.

@MaheshS1 I was born in Central Vietnam, I spent 4 years studying in Hanoi (the Northern part) and now I’m working in Saigon (the Southern part). There are great differences between the North and the South. You will be amazed by beautiful landscapes and open-minded local people here in the South. If you come to Saigon, I’ll be your local guide. Hope to see in Vietnam soon!
