What should I Take Pictures Of?

Adding pictures to your reviews make them more exciting and offers viewers a chance to actually see what a place looks like. And people will actually look at photos.

Sometimes there are a flood of photos that have nothing to do with the thing being reviewed. This includes random pictures of family members eating churros on the beach or stair cases leading no where.

A relevant photo ads value to a review and helps the reader make a decision to visit the place. Don’t waste the readers valuable time by including irrelevant photos.

On the other hand…

Including relevant but unusual photos could draw attention and make the destination more intriguing. Take the photo here I took at the Walmart in Antofagasta, Chile. Where a short was unperturbed by the pigeon in the “snack” aisle.

What are your tips for taking relevant photos?

just wanted to let you know that in the States we, too, have pigeons in our Wal-Mart’s. You’re not alone.
