I have been a user for Google Maps since many years and finding it really useful platform to plan and make decisions based on the information you get. I was a regular user of Google Maps until one day I had a bad experience navigating with my family,
We were on vacation and traveling to one place first time. So the navigation was turned on and distance was 5 hours. After reaching close to 5 kms we realized that the road led to dead end with no direction to move. It wad really shocking to see that. When we inquired from local people they said there was one right turn 15 kms behind which could have taken you to that destination. They also told this road has been closed long time back.
Due to all this we have to travel 3 more hours with 1 year old baby. On that particular day i decided to be a active contributor to Google Maps to share my experience with other people.
I have been posting regular reviews and photos about the places i visit and really feel proud when people read my reviews and likes photos i share.I also try to report issues with the places and answer questions about different places.
I think Google Maps is a great platform and being a Google Local Guide it’s my responsibility to help in make maps more Eco-friednly.
