Hello everyone,
I love sharing photos on Google maps because fresh photos of places makes the whole experience so much more useful. I find it very dry when a location doesn’t have good photos or videos. I started to add videos recently, and I think that video is one step above photos in regards to getting a good idea of the ambience of a place.
In general most information and photos are helpful, but I also like to flag inapropriate photos and correct anything wrong I see on Google maps, for instance I have flagged many photos of not being to the place where they were added and have corrected the marker location of an important landmark in my home town of Salvador, Brazil.
For somebody living in large metropole like I do, Google maps is by far one of the most useful apps on my phone.
