Everytime I’m out for a walk I stop to take a photo when I find a view that’s particularly beautiful. It’s easy to know where those places are in the town you live in. Thats why its even more rewarding sharing those photos online to others so they also can experience it. I try to return to the same spot at different times of the year to capture my town through the seasons.
I love seeing others photos online from their towns and vacations to see and learn how the world looks through their eyes. So what are your spots, what features of your city do you love the most?
For me it is where the old industrial areas comes together with the new modern architecture. I love seeing how the history of my town blends together with how everything evolves and moves on. It’s a reminder of the people that lived, worked and died in my city long before I was even born.
Now i’m here, and I get to experience the place as it is now, this moment in time. My photos will be out there, online, for generations further in the future to learn how it looked and how we lived, long before their time. At least, that’s what I want to believe.
